How long does Gel X last?
Gel X extensions typically last 3-4 weeks with proper care. The longevity depends on your nail growth rate and daily activities. We recommend scheduling fills every 2-3 weeks for best results.
What's the difference between dipping powder and acrylic?
Dipping powder uses a resin and powder system that’s generally thinner and more flexible than acrylics. Acrylics use liquid monomer and polymer powder, creating a harder, more durable surface. Both last 2-3 weeks, but dipping powder tends to be less damaging to natural nails.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Remove any existing polish if possible, though we can do this for you. For pedicures, avoid shaving your legs 24 hours before to prevent irritation. Arrive 5 minutes early for new client paperwork.
What's your sanitation process?
All metal tools are sterilized in hospital-grade autoclaves. We use disposable files and buffers for each client. Pedicure tubs are cleaned and disinfected between each use with EPA-registered products.
